🍓Scaddows End of Season Info 🍓
-----------------------------------
We are now closed for the Summer 2021 Season. Scaddows will be open again end of June 2022 for the next season of fruit picking! Thanks again to all our customers supporting us this year!
-----------------------------------
🎃 No Pumpkins in 2021 🎃
The last couple of years we’ve run a pumpkin Halloween event here at Scaddows. As many of you know we move our strawberry fields around on a yearly basis as part of the crop rotation to grow the best strawberries! As a result this year we have not had spare land available to plant pumpkins on so we are going to take a break from it to give the land a rest until we have a suitable patch for planting.

🍷 Scaddows Vineyard 🍷
Whilst we are unable to run the pumpkin event this year we are going to take the opportunity to start building our new Winery at Scaddows. We expect it to take a couple of years but once complete it will offer us an amazing space to expand Scaddows Vineyard’s wine production, hopefully kick off some Vineyard / Winery Tours and also provide a beautiful panoramic wine tasting / cafe seating space overlooking the fruit fields for us all to enjoy! Watch this space!

🎄Christmas Wine🎄
We expect to be selling wine in the run up to Christmas at regular Christmas Markets at Calke Abbey this year. Follow us on Facebook for updates so you don't miss out on a fantastic Christmas Tipple!

About Scaddows Farm

Scaddows Farm is located in beautiful countryside on the A514 between Ticknall and Hartshorne in South Derbyshire.

John and Ann Webster have been farming all their lives and moved to Ticknall in 1987 with daughter, Lizzie, and son, Tom. The farm is a family run business and produces lamb, vegetables and pick-your-own fruit and also has a secluded caravan park with 10 pitches.

We are passionate about producing traditional & homegrown produce, and the farm has become famous for it's Pick-Your-Own strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries & blackcurrants. We are hoping to extend our fruit season and expand our range of fruit now that our new farm shop is open, beginning with longer strawberry & raspberry seasons.
