PICKING STATUS:
Strawberries = Picking
Gooseberries = Picking
Redcurants = Not ready yet
Raspberries = Nearly Ready
Blackcurrant = Just Starting

Our summer picking season is well underway! Come stock up on some excellent, locally grown summer fruits! Please take note of the How it Works and Site Rules! Don’t forget to pick up some of our Award Winning Scaddows Vineyard Wine from the Farm Shop during your visit!

General Site Rules:
* NO DOGS allowed - Please remember we do not allow dogs on site, best to leave them home in the shade with plenty of water in this hot weather!
* Payment by card when possible in field and Farm Shop
* All Fruit Picked must be paid for prior to eating it, No eating allowed in the fruit picking field.
* No Picnics / sitting in groups within the Strawberry Picking Field
* No running or throwing fruit in the field.
* Only pick fruit you are willing to pay for, you will be charged for everything you pick.

How it Works:
1. Arrive at site
2. Booking not required
3. Park car in the designated area
4. We have punnets and baskets available to purchase or you are welcome to bring your own
5. Follow signage for entrance and to collect containers
6. Enter field and pick fruit
7. Return to pay station to pay
8. Treat yourself to ice cream and a cold drink from the Farm Shop!

Please note we have some ongoing building work this year so we are running more of a coffee shop / kiosk than a cafe, serving hot and cold drinks, cakes, snacks and ice creams. Outdoor seating only!

About Scaddows Farm
Scaddows Farm is located in beautiful countryside on the A514 between Ticknall and Hartshorne in South Derbyshire.
John and Ann Webster have been farming all their lives and moved to Ticknall in 1987 with daughter, Lizzie, and son, Tom. The farm is a family run business and produces lamb, vegetables and pick-your-own fruit and also has a secluded caravan park with 10 pitches.
We are passionate about producing traditional & homegrown produce, and the farm has become famous for it's Pick-Your-Own strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries & blackcurrants. We are hoping to extend our fruit season and expand our range of fruit now that our new farm shop is open, beginning with longer strawberry & raspberry seasons.

NOTICES
- Car Par Available
- Drinks & Ice cream available in our Farm Shop
- No Toilets available this year due to COVID social distancing
- No dogs allowed
- No picnics in the Fruit Field / Sitting in groups in the Fruit Field
- All fruit picked must be paid for before eating
